During my breastfeeding journey I poured hours of research into milk boosting ingredients. I combined this with my love for cooking to create fun quick and yummy lactation recipes. I am so happy to share them with you Mama and I hope they help take your pumping to the next level like they did for me!
Maitaji
- Mafuta ya kupikia kijiko 1 cha chakula
- Kitungu cheupe 1
- Kitungu saumu punje 3
- Fennel (shamari) 1 kubwa au 2 za size ya kati
- Cauliflower 1 kubwa au 2 ndogo- Nazi kikombe 1
- Maji vikombe 3
- Chumvi kidogo
Maelekezo
1. Kata kata mboga zote na usage kitungu saumu
2. Weka mafut kwenya sufuria kisha kaanga vitungu vikianza kuiva weka mboga zote kaanga kwa dakika 5-10
3. Weka maji kisha acha kichemke kwa dakika 5-10
4. Weka nazi ichemkia kwa dakika chache
5. Blend kisha supu itakua tayari
Ingredients
- 1 spoon cooking oil
- 1 clove white onion
- 3 pieces garlic
- 1 large Fennel bulb
- 1 large Cauliflower
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 3 cups water
- Pinch of salt
Directions
1. Chop up all the vegetables and crush the garlic.
2. Pour the cooking oil into a pot and add chopped onions.
3. Bring the onions to a simmer then add all vegetables.
4. Leave to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
5. Add coconut and leave to boil for a few minutes.
6. Stir and get ready to enjoy your soup! Yum.

- Vikombe 6 vya supu ya mfupa au maji
- Chumvi na black pepper
- Turmeric

Maelekezo
1. Kata kata kuku vipande pamoja na mboga zote
2. Weka mboga zote, kuku, na viungo vyote kwenye sufuria na maji
3. Chemsha na moto mdogo kwa masaa 4-6
4. Kabla ya kuzima jiko weka lactation mix robo kijiko cha chai acha dakika 2 kisha zima jiko na supu itakua tayari
Ingredients
- 1 Onion
- 1 Green Pepper
- 3 Carrots
- 3 Celery Stalks
- 2 Garlic clove pieces
- 1 Chicken
- 6 Cups bone broth or water
- Pinch of salt- Black pepper to taste
- Tumeric - Paprika
- Lactation mix
Directions
1. Chop up the chicken and all vegetables.
2. Mix all vegetables, chicken and spices in one pot and add the broth/water.
3. Boil at a low flame for 4-6 hours
4. Add a quarter tea spoon of the lactation mix, allow to boil for 2minutes and get ready to enjoy your milk making chicken soup!

- 2 Karoti kubwa
- 2 karafuu kubwa za vitunguu
- Mizizi 2 ya leek
- 1 vitunguu kubwa vya spring
- Kipande 1 kidogo cha tangawizi
- Kijiko 1 cha mafuta ya alizeti
- Kijiko 1 cha poda ya curry
- Vikombe 2 vya mchuzi wa mfupa au maji
- 1/2 kikombe cha maziwa ya nazi
- Bana ya chumvi na pilipili
- Mchanganyiko wa lactation
Maelekezo
1. Kata mboga zote.
2. Pasha mafuta ya zeituni na upike butternut/malenge, kitunguu maji na liki kwa dakika chache.
3. Weka kitunguu saumu, tangawizi, unga wa kari na chumvi na pilipili.
4. Weka mchuzi wa mfupa, kisha ufunike sufuria. Acha ichemke hadi kila kitu kiwe kimeiva.
5. Weka kijiko cha chai cha robo ya mchanganyiko wa lactation na koroga vizuri.
6. Weka nazi, changanya kisha zima jiko.
7. Acha supu ipoe kidogo kabla ya kuonja.
Ingredients
- 1 Medium size butternut/pumpkin
- 2 Large carrots
- 2 Large garlic cloves
- 2 Roots of leek
- 1 Large spring onion
- 1 Small piece of ginger
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil/sunflower oil
- 1 Tbsp of curry powder
- 2 Cups of bone broth or water
- 1/2 Cup coconut milk- Pinch of salt & pepper
- Lactation mix
Directions
1. Chop up all vegetables.
2. Heat up olive oil and sauté the butternut/pumpkin, spring onion and leeks for a few minutes.
3. Add the garlic, ginger, curry powder and the salt and pepper.
4. Add the bone broth and cover the pot. Allow to boil until everything is cooked through.
5. Add a quarter tea spoon of the lactation mix and stir well. 6. Add the coconut milk, mix to combine and turn off the stove.
7. Let the soup slightly cool before blending and enjoying!
